Yeah the HD collection, all 3 in one. And yeh it has the special edition.
The Neverhood! I never even heard of it before yesterday, and although it was difficult to get it, I found a copy of the CD, and then a fix so that it could work on Windows 7. By the way no this isn't illegal, the copyrights and such expired (
see the Wikipedia article), and someone's even making a "restoration project" so that it can run on modern OSs (including Mac and Linux). I don't know how I would've gotten a copy otherwise though, it's a pretty rare game.
Anyway it's pretty cool so far, I was really anxious to play it from what I'd seen and read, and actually getting it to work was awesome in itself.
Also started Ace Attorney: Justice for All, already finished the first episode. I like how they integrated the story to give a valid reason for the tutorial again.
Twisted Metal: Head-On. Loving the funkiness of the soundtrack.
Bought Rome: Total War off of Steam. Great game, just a bit depressing that I decided to get it AFTER my test in Ancient History. I would've gotten an A, just sayin.
Completed Ni No Kuni. Doing the post-game stuff but I don't know how long it's going to hold my attention now...
Donkey Kong Country 2 again. Holy crap, I'm rusty at this game.
Shadow of the Colossus (PS3)
Never played before, it's pretty cool. I already killed 6 of them
Finally finished Spirit Tracks. Now it's over
I've still got stuff to do (not gonna say exactly what for spoilers), but it's not really much. Also it's kind of annoying that there aren't any proper past-story extras, you've only got any side-quests or whatever that you didn't finish before. I mean I wasn't
expecting any, I've never played a Zelda game that have them (if any actually do), but I sort of wish they did.
That said the final boss was just as awesome as the rest of the game. Honestly, pretty much every part of this game has been either fun, interesting, funny, or a mixture.
You've got games that are fun and then you've got games that are spectacular. Spirit Tracks is the latter.
Anyway I also finished Super Princess Peach, which was pretty good too. It was a bit short (each world only had like 5 levels + boss), but it does add a bunch of extras afterwards, so I'll be playing those soon.
I'm wondering about Perry's dreams though, they never really had a conclusion. I wonder if they actually get explained more after beating extra levels (or the bosses again).
Kirby super star ultra on DS
god dammit kirby is great, i had completely forgotten
i'm currently playing king's revenge, all the enemies are badass as fuck
Playing Dead Island for the first time,I like it I guess.
I like that weapons have durability ratings, I just wish that those ratings were a bit higher.
It really sucks having to jut in and out of the menu to reequip yourself once all of your weapons
have broken while in mid-zombie swarm.
I just played Dungeons and Dragons, Shadow Over Mystara
loveitloveitloveitLOVEIT.
Overlord, which I bought it on Steam some months ago when it was cheap. No hang on, years. December 2010, heh. I guess it was about time I'd actually play it for once.
