Wow, I totally forgot about this one, I've mulled it over in my head and think it could make an incredible movie, even though it would never, EVER happen.

Cave Story.

Maybe as just a 2D animated movie, I think it could work.

Ladyfriend of mine bought Far Cry: Instincts for her Xbox the other day, and holy fuck that would be a good movie.

Similar to Predator, albeit from the titular character's point of view.

I also thought that Cave Story was impossible, specially when Quote doesn't say a thing.
But as a 2D or a 3D animated cult-like movie could work wonders.

they could use the actors who played Doc louis and Little Mac in the Punch-out wii commerical for it

Final Fantasy 6 has a good story on its own, so a movie adaptation isn't a huge leap. But in terms of the way its filmed, 2D animation would be the best.

Think FF6 by Studio Ghibli.


Also, Team Fortress 2 is a duh, good humor, good visuals, lots of creative potential with 9 interesting characters to develop. Writes itself.

seriously Sonic OVA was awesome for that scene only
but it also granted a giant robot robotnik with meta-knight wings and an ass that shoots super glue.
not to mention the sex jokes!

i would love to see a pokemon movie, zelda movie, or dare i say madworld, i love that game.

you mean live action pokemon movie?
it's better not even trying to think about it, it would end so wrong...

you can always hope the problem with game to movie adaptations is that people who no nothing about it usually take on the project so they feel like if they change the story to something gay with explosions, its ok.
