no games would make awesome movies


all game -> movie translations suck and vice versa (with very few exceptions)

I dunno, MGS is already crossing the line. MGS4 has 1.5 hours of cut scenes. That already sounds like a movie to me.

actually, that 1.5 hours are from the cutscene where snake beats ocelot to death to the end of the credits.

played through the game five times, first time without skipping cutscenes was like 16 hours, all the times after that where i've skipped like everything averaged out to about 7 to 9 hours

pretty sure MGS3: Subsistence had a third disc in the Europe release which compiled all the cutscenes from the game into a three hour movie, never seen it though

His point is because the games are already movie like, they should be movies. My point is because they are already movie like, they don't even need movies.

His point is because the games are already movie like, they should be movies. My point is because they are already movie like, they don't even need movies.

Oh, well alright. The whole idea behind the thread though was which games would make cool movies, and with MGS already having a lot of cutscenes, it's more apparent that it would make a good movie. Of course it doesn't need a movie, no game needs a movie adaption, people are just entertaining ideas.

Not the european version, the limited edition version. I've never seen it either; it's more than just the cutscenes, they actually change the angles and add new stuff to it to make it feel even more like a movie than it already does.

A movie based on the Wii Shop Channel would be pretty cool. The plot can be a guy is trying to buy Earth Bound but he gets an error saying Reggie can't let you do that whenever he tries.

Maybe Ocarina of Time or Twilight Princess would be decent, not great but decent.

Fan shorts are the only weay to do it.

A Loz would make a good movie I think, it wouldnt be to hard and has a pretty strait forward storyline
