The VG Resource

The watchmen one looks like its facing a completely different direction than the sprite reference you have next to it. The lightsource also does not look like its coming from above, but rather to the side (torso), at an opposite angle to the torso (the hat). In the NamcoxCapcom WIP, Mario does not look as though he has joints, but its probably too early to crit.

I love Metal Slug, Ristar, Shining Force, and Tactics styles.

Loving 1, 3, 5, and FFTA's 17, even though it's not Final Fantasy Tactics style.


Golden sun's style doesn't look GS at all, though. It's tilted to the side, instead of a frontal-side pose.

Yeah, it's FFTA, howcome I didn't notice that. D'oh.

Metal Slug doesn't really fit. I mean, you used official colors, but it sticks out.

I like 31 even though it doesn't fit the style. :>
