You can't make the walking animation like this: you need to do a sketch of the side pose, then build your animation from there. If you finish it like you're doing now, then Link won't have any body movement.

I was thinking it would look better if he was facing to the side while he was running but now I'm thinking it's not worth the effort

Just been something that I thought you might notice/comment on, but, yeah.
I like your style Phantom K. I like how the character all keep the same style even when thy are so different. That horse head dude gives me the creeps but It's cool.
