Is this a new tower? Or a redesigned one?

They are using pixelarts when entering new areas like the ones in FRLG.

I think that it'll just be starters, since some pokemon are just too big (Steelix, Lugia, etc.). And I think that it's Totodile. See how there's no red ridges on his head?

Pichu has one in this pic, and I don't see the starter.

I wonder if Pichu will be given to you some point in the game like Togepi was, instead of having to go through all the trouble to breed two Pikachu. In Crystal, you received another egg when you first visited the day care which could've been a random baby Pokemon inside. That would be cool

Because one of the Pichus is following the player, meaning only one pokemon can follow you, which is expected.
