D/P/P had good sprites, though it mixes badly with the 3d renders

Cloyster
!!! Misty should be in the Elite Four.
I'm talking about the sprites. . I even said it right there, "I know it's just the sprites".
oh ok
btw i was thinking about the skakeboard thing and i do notice gold looks a lil more "sk8r boi" this time around.
Wasn't the skateboard thing suppose to be fake?
No, he has a skateboard in the Manga.
It just doesn't translate to the games, most likely for consistency reasons.

This so much. tbqh I think it makes the buildings and stuff in the game look terrible wih their odd low-res textures.
But a 2D game.....
i thought there was a skateboard planned for the original game but never got in.
or at least i heard.
Yeah, fairly sure the bike was going to be a skateboard in the earlier versions.
It's what I remember hearing too, although I don't recall the rumor ever being confirmed by Game Freak, nor did any of the early ingame screens show Gold with one.
i guess the manga version of gold having a skateboard is a pretty strong hint that it was planned
I heard there was data for it, but no sprites. There was a safari zone, but it wasn't open in the game.
