If a game is indie, it does not warrant that said game is good. There are a lot of indie games out that that I loathe. You're narrowing this down too much and making it seem as if very few games are considered indie.
I love 'regular', non indie games. Just because a game isn't indie, that doesn't mean I won't play it. Likewise, just because a game is indie, that doesn't mean I will play it.
This generally applies to other 'indie gamers' too. Please note that when I refer to indie gamers, I refer to those who keep up with the community and have a good understanding of what indie games are. Before I realized that the concept of indie gaming existed and was popular, I had already played several.
I said to forget it. I also said that I didn't think you guys hated regular games either.
If anything I was implying that liking indie games was the cool thing right now. But again lets drop it.
A REMINDER TO THE THREA
if you call yourself an indie gamer, or really indie anything, you're a really pretentious douche who deserves nothing more than to be thrown from the highest cliff
"ooh look at me i don't pay for shitty freeware games i should make a group for people like me"
Indie games whats that??????????
are they games by Indians???
koopaul you need to understand that once you post something
what has been done cannot be undone
On another note I am going to agree with Bryan's post about labelling shit as indie
there are good indie games
there is good indie music
they happen to be good
because they are good
not because they are indie
oh no people seem to like a couple things that are indie this is clearly a trend my poor nintendo is no longer the height of popularity (shut up)

I just hope you can actually "use" that secret treasure in this version
Yuck, such a terrible game. I'll never understand what causes this game to be soo hugely popular.

it kinda falls in as a niche game for the "nintendo hard" enjoying crew
same reason pretty much every NES game is utter shit, they've all got that same sort of ugly gameplay style that makes for artificial difficulty
actually the best NES games aren't really 'nintendo hard' with the exceptions of the first castlevania (terrible game) contra (it's okay) and ninja gaiden (the second one is better) which are all poorly aged games. the best NES games have a steady difficulty curve (bionic commando, megaman 2, castlevania III)
a lot of people like la-mulana because it rewards uncovering secrets, and deciphering puzzles but in the end the english translation is pretty much basic so it's mostly just trial and error.
That is why I said it falls in with the niche crew that likes nintendo hard
I never said the best NES games were nintendo hard (I hate all of them equally)
ravan do you suck at videogames is this what this is about

ninja gaiden isn't nintendo hard, all that shit was planned
i mean come on, if you lose the battle in 5-3 you get catapulted ALL THE WAY BACK TO 5-1
that ain't nintendo hard.
