Yeah I realize how bad that is. My philosophy is: You can be cruel and get things done. Or you can be nice and get nothing done.

To prevent myself from further sounding like an evil dictator, I don't want you to do what I suggested before.

However I highly doubt this project will ever be complete in its current state of business.
Well, if we settle on a cast, the next step would be to just make the sprites and the bickering would be over, I think. Stages and items can take a back seat until after we see some real progress.
The only reason I don't work on my stuff is 'cuz I'm busy/lazy.

But I promise, I will get my stuff at LEAST 50% done.

BTW, I used to think differently, but it seems that making the Fantasy Smash stuff is easier, as references aren't always needed, or they're easier to get. With SSBB, motion references can be rather difficult to get, and they aren't always useful either. So that could be another reason for this project's slowness.
I'm not really worried to have pixel-perfect matches to the models, but people seem to think that's what this project wants.
Let's only work on one thing at a time. Like right now, characters, than after that, stages, then assist trophies, and finally items (except assist)and effects.

And by the way, to throw another thing that may effect others too, some people have lives out of their computer, so they don't have some much time to sprite, though they'd like more, as they enjoy it, but just can't find the time so often.
I think the style should be a bit more simplistic.

Not to simplistic, Something like.... I don't know. There are people with more expertise
then me when it comes to Fighting styles. I just thing we should change it.
The sprite style itself isn't really all that hard. It's probably the level of detail.
Honestly, if we changed the style, we're changing the whole thing. This project is special with it's style.
Regardless of the difficulty of the style, if someone made a tutorial it might make it easier for people to get into it.
I don't find the style all that hard nor do i find tutorials all that helpful. then again i dont know about other people but its not like im a master at spriting.
Well the style has become questionable since there are certain sprites that don't seem to match up well.
If I'm correct, Mario is the standard, and Fox and Kirby seem to fit in with him best.

In other words, the goal is to get the sprites to look natural next to Mario.
Samus fits in pretty well too.
Yeah, I guess so.

...I was trying not to mention all the sprites I worked on...

Ness seems to fit in pretty well, too, as well as Toon Link. The color choices for Peach and Sheik are good, also.

Serious? No way that's true. There are plenty that fit better than my Kirby.
