cool. Are these vectorized?
Yes sir. I'm getting a lot of request from people on the company's actual forum.
Check this new ones out!!
Check out my sig guys. It's my latest piece of work.
Just a little bump cause I want to hear what you guys think of my newer pieces.
A new piece. Hope you guys like:
I think it's a little... Flat.
You should consider adding a bit of texture.
And don't forget, nothing is flat in real life. Even paper has a little bit of depth.
So around the edge of the mushroom, you should add a bit of a rim almost, like this:
There's also the grass. Right now your grass looks like paper cutouts. You should actually think of each blade of grass as a 3D object.
Just some suggestions, anyway. Think three-dimensionally.
Thanks for that Teddy. I get exactly what you mean. I'll try it out in a sex and upload something better around this week. Do you by any chance have some idea on how to make the shading transition to the white?

You mean with gradation?
It's kind of something you've just got to practice.
Just draw a rectangle and start on one side as dark as you can go and gently ease your way to white. Eventually it comes naturally. Just learn to control your pressure. Also, overlapping lines helps you shade darker areas without that awful shiny pencil effect you get when pressing too hard.
You should generally always go from left to right when shading. Don't be afraid to rotate your page either. That's assuming you're right handed. I'm not sure if it would be the other way around for a lefty, but just do what feels natural.
Thanks. You have been of great help. I'm right handed so that works just find.
