Nice job, although I think the Yoshi is a tad bit wide. However if you're trying to copy the art style of the picture then nice job!!
Although if you're trying to make him like the newer model then here's an example.....

Your lines are jagged, and your shading is flat. Your colors are way too saturated, and lack contrast. You need to learn the concept of hue shifting.

I'm not a very good spriter, I don't understand all that crap or were/how to use it.
