I know that, but my brother knew nothing about sprites, he did one, and people give them ideas for him to improve, they didn't say things like "oh, stop editing sprites, you are retard..."... and he became better and better... now the only comments i have are things like that, so i dont want to sprite anymore because of those people who dont know how to live...

I told you to stop editing sprites so you could be better. there's no skill or creativity in editing someone elses work.

I've helped you this whole time and have I said anything bad to you? No. You need to learn to take criticism. It's the only way you'll ever improve. Just because some know nothing spriter calls you a mean ol' name doesn't mean you need to stop trying. Stop being so meek and work towards bettering your skills instead of acting like a pussy and quitting.

The thing is that you aren't accepting what we're trying to tell you.
There was also the post that you said, "I know what I'm doing" that gives what I said proof.

ok... So I will take one of my characters I drew, and put it in sprite (A CUSTOM SPRITE, BASED ON NOTHING... If the term isn't good tell me...) Then I will post it, and some people will say " okay, so this is good, but...", and others will say it sucks, but I have to ignore those people... sorry not ignore, but I have to take those comments as tips... Thank you dude...
(sorry for double post)

Nice work on that sprite, a perfect add-on could be those cowboy and wizard hats.(just a suggestion)

It's good for a start. Assuming he's supposed to be round, you need to add more shading, because like that, it looks flat. To match the picture more, you need to make the colors lighter. You should either remove the black outline or give it a little anti aliasing.

Okay, but for the shading, could you give an example, because I don't really know how to do XD

So I'll work on them then Wink But now I'm so tired that I'll go to bed (It'll only go to the weekend for the edit (yes, now I know the difference between edit and custom XD))...

So I did put off the the outline and it looks more round, but I didn't change the shading I didn't got time Tongue enjoy!
your start is alot better than mine and now somehow this has somehow became your topic completely unrelated to the title lol

yeah, I know, because I got critics, but thought it was bad comments... So I gave more than one try, and if I put a new topic, I think people would be tired of my edits... then I did a Custom
The Sprite is great better than anything that I would of been able to make when I had just started. When I started out I was 11 and now I'm 14 in three years I got to an alright standard but that was because I didn't really pay attention to the comments I was getting. and that was probably the worst thing that I ever did in spriting. Just keep at it is all I can really say.

Good Luck.
