hey i was wondering if someone could tell me a good animation program for sprites that is free i couldnt find any searching on google so thought someone here could help me.

Some people talked a bit about animation programs a while ago here
May not be exactly your case, but it might help.
I myself use JASC Animation Shop 3, but it's not free.
