didn't base ALL of em from pokémon, originally i was but they looked crappy. the Pokémon sprites really only should serve as a height reference more then a restricting template and i did it this way because you have to put the charters into the program this way. additional poses and stuff will come up later after the characters are all done.
^ If thats good then I may finish it,
On the down state I changed the colors from purple-ish to blue(Using the pallet) and some shading on the legs.
that looks like its heading in the right direction the only thing i have to say about it is teh back pose, i think lucario has more dreadlock things in the back? though im not 100% sure about that

It has two each side, if you mean the things on it's head

If you connect them a pixel close to the center of the back of his head, it should look better.
yeah that's what i meant and i think omegakyogre had some good advice
Is that better?

Better, though I think you need to make it more easy to see two individual... things... on either side of his head. Like, split them apart more.
Okay: First of all, those aren't yours.
Secondly: Only a few of those are actually in SSB in the first place.
Thanks for trying to be helpful, but it isn't.
what do you guys think about this tweak i did to your rob? (first time i've ever tried to make or edit a sprite) i made the walking~ forward (or rather motoring forward) on ROB. although both the left foot and right foot look the same because i dont think they should look different.
just trying to contribute my part. plus i would very much like to ask permission to use these for something that i plan on just using for my own entertainment. i'm making a one of a kind board game esk sorta scenario on game maker which will basically give you the rules and what not of every fight randomized.
you move around the board collecting items (items from the game) if you have no items your eliminated, if you have all the items you win.
when you run into a square with another brawl character on it, you must do battle using a randomized set of rules. if you win, you take one item from their inventory and they get sent to a random empty square.
more or less those are the rules and your sprites are working perfectly for me (btw its not really a "game" im making so much as a tournament or match tracker. all the real brawls happen in the actual game on the wii. the game im making just basically is the basis for what rules and participants will be in each fight and when.
Tabuh looks very cool

ROB looks good Id like to see what you can do with the other directions and as ive stated before i dont mind people using tehse sprites as long as you credit the spriters who've made them
Heres my
E. Gadd and
Primid so far (I can't really do animations for things that have such thin arms and legs, so if anyone cauld animate the primid, that would be great)
