Probably something similar to the old style (for stages) or to Kirby Super Star Ultra.

Somewhat similar to the existing Wind Waker stage or to Big Blue. The main stage is the Spirit Train, which puffs along at a fairly steady pace, going through a part of each realm (forest -> snow -> fire -> ocean -> forest -> etc.)
Enemies occasionally appear in the background to attack the train (and those on it), such as those pirates who fire cannons (like in WW stage), bulls that jump over the train and hit players, or the evil rocket trains that sort of travel with the main train a bit before eventually exploding (doesn't hit the main train). The stuff in the background is probably not really possible in sprite form, though.

It should also go through the sand and final realm
Well, the sand realm is part of the ocean realm, so I guess they could be together anyway. As for the final realm, I haven't seen that yet.

After all, all I have is a YouTube walkthrough to go off, so I have to wait while the guy plays through the game on a super-laggy emulator.

BTW, should the train occasionally slow down or stop at certain places? Like the Spirit Tower, Castle Town, etc.?

Well, Spirit Tower is in the center of all the realms, so it should appear between every realm.

I think the train should travel at it's basic speed, and at times, you should see a speed up sign that will cause the train to go top speed for a few seconds, making it a bit harder to keep your footing, but not long.

Also, I think in the Sea Realm, the pirates should hop onto the train. They would just walk about and swing their weapons from time to time.


As for the final realm

It's the Dark Realm, and it looks like somebody put Rainbow Road in a blender. It has a black hole and skulls everywhere and plenty of torpedo trains, and tears of light that make Links train go super fast and blow everything up. It also has the boss fight against the demon train which might make a good addition as well.

I already said to stop suggesting stages. We have PLENTY enough to go off on. We just need to decide which ones stay and which ones go.
I got an idea for the victory road stage, in case the idea is used:

Tyvon, it might be a good idea to edit the thread title to say "No more stage suggestions" or something like that.
I think we should just start working on the characters before we get to stages and such. OR maybe at the same time.
