I think he means that should we keep with the style (cartoony) consistent between the sprites and the sfx. I mean, theres no point having, say, a character with a huge head, big cartoony cats eyes, a small body, and a strong, heavy voice. Am I right?
But.
What does that have to do with Pokemon?
Bowser should use his M&L3 sfx. If you listen past the mumbles and grumbles, you can hear that he's actuall talking sometimes.
Pretty much, Aura.
Having a cartoony style for the pokemon and giving them game voices is a bit odd, but it could work either way. It's just it's weird having Pikachu and Lucario making anime noises while Pokemon trainer's pokemon make game noises. I think it should change to one way or the other, game or anime voices.
-It just came to my attention Deoxys never really had an 'anime' voice, so whatever works.-
Deoxys has, like, two sfx's in Brawl, and apart from that, we only have his call from the original games. Like you said, its awkward having a pokeball pokemon come out making the noise from the original games and the playable Pokemon shouting 'Pika-pi!'. I can only think of two ways around this;
Someone does the voices.
Someone edits the original voices.
Anyway, i tried chicorita. Any good?

Far from it, it looks disproportional and shading is off.
It's an ok start, but it's pretty disproportional and it's shading is weird. I'm trying to do a Registeel, but if someone else want's him go ahead. Mine's probably not near anything someone else can do.
ok, Ill take off the shading, and see what you guys think of the body

Yes, His voice is much better in that game than in Brawl. I did suggest that in the Character Tweaks page I believe.

Still a bit disproportional. The head is too large and the body needs to be a bit longer vertically. The tail could also do with being a little bit smaller. Still a good start though like the others have said.

Nothing wrong with this, but you guys should be writing about Bowswer stuff in
this topic.

A bit?
It's almost completely off. It doesn't look like Chikorita.
Sorry Aurapigonstilts.
There are no good colours for Chikorita in the pallet. :\
Hey Wow! I just realised that every time I donate a sprite to the project that no-one has even touched, someone else will automatically think *Ew no. Aurapigonstilts is uploading more crap. I must do a better job than Him!* and will then make their own sprite for a character they wouldn't have touched if I hadn't attempted! This will therefore speed up production of sprites, and the game will get finished sooner! Wow!
Anyway, awesome job Arthur!
Well keep making sprites for us to one-up then.
Seriously, please do keep making sprites. A) It'll help you improve and your sprites may end up actually getting used. B) The last one there motivated me to take a couple minutes out fo my super busy life to sprite.
