It's looking great, guys. Keep it up, it's great to see progress.
What kind of poses will he have outside of his mech?
Well he's mostly going to be inside it. His only outside sprites will probably be victory poses, climbing into the pod, and just generally moving around inside the pod.

Its not so much his smash attack on the opponent that he's worried about, but more that it hurt him when it hit the floor when it landed.

Anyway, that one looks good, but needs to make it look as if it slammed against the floor more to give a sense of weight.
Yeah, I think effects will be added separately.
So there will be separate motion blurs?
Uhhh, not sure. Are we using them? They wouldn't hurt.
I'm going to try to work on some other attacks.

THINGS I NEED HELP WITH (for any soul willing)
-Spider-mech walk cycle
-Porky's arms
-Porky Bot
Sukapon seems to have some motion blurs on the REALLY fast animations, so maybe it would be acceptable for those cases?
I don't see why not.
But Porky's a slow character compared to light-weight characters like Sukapon. Unless any of his moves are fast enough, in which case there would be no problem
Maybe, when he lunges forward his face hits the glass and he is all pressed up against it actually showing his pig nose.

Yes!
This is looking really great! Good job! One thing I have to say, on the forwrd facing poses it kinda looks like the back legs of the mech are either slightly in front of or on the same level as the front legs. It doesn't really look like they are behind the front legs.
