I think that the Adventure mode should have multiple paths you can take depending on how you complete a level. So that it's not the same every time. Sort of like in Melee, when you battle Luigi from completing the first adventure stage differently.
That might be a good idea too, though I'm still likin Ton's...wait...CRAP. Would we just keep adding in stages with the DLC characters or not?
Brainstorming...
Got it. We'd add in levels for certain characters and series when the DLC character is unlocked, but not for every one. And on top of that, we can use the multiple paths idea Runow suggested to add the variety, and if you beat a certain character/stage in adventure mode, you could unlock a new fighter?
Just a random idea, but when you fight Megaman (if you do) in Adventure Mode you need to use the music to Dr. Wily Stage 1 from MegaMan II. Best song in the series imo
This is my idea:
Story Mode (To be Renamed)
Adventure Mode (Like Melee's)
Classic Mode (Classic~)
------------------------------------------
Story Mode Idea: The World of Cards: Similar previous games, this takes place in the world of Cards. There is a separate area for each 'world' (Super Mario, LoZ, Metroid, etc.) in the WoC. Master Hand decides to have a little fun one day, and -to Master Hand, the World of Cards is a map that he can come in and out of as he wishes- crumbles the map up, crashing all the 'worlds' together. The cards take very unkindly to this, and look to eachother as the enemy. You start out as one character that you pick personally. You start in your own 'world' where a neighboring 'world' has invaded yours. You start running through your world, looking for a denizen or inhabitant of the other world to question. You fight through the landscape -each world is ONE LEVEL, a diverse landscape for you to explore- and meet the main character of that world. You battle, and after the opposing character loses, you come to an agreement; you start an alliance. Your goal is to find every country and side with them. Later in the game you find out that Master Hand is the true culprit behind the catastrophy that nearly destroyed your worlds, and once you side with all 'worlds' except for third party-ers, you go on to 'The Manifestation', where Final Destination, Battlefield and the area around the two lie. There you find Master Hand, and before you can attack, he combines segments of each world together, forcing you to go through every Boss and Character you fought in the game, and at the very end, you fight Master Hand. NOTE: This is not the Master Hand you are used to. This is a very powered up Master Hand with Moves similar to the ones from Bosses you've fought.
After you defeat him, you demand he fix the problem or you'll finish him. In a desperate attempt to survive, he agrees.
Extras and things I forgot to mention:
-Every time you ally with another 'world', their 'world's' outline glows blue. One that has not yet been defeated/ allied with has a red outline.
-Hidden Character's Worlds and sections of worlds will be crumbled up on the map and un-reachable until you unlock them, at which point that area will un-crumble.
-3'rd party character's 'worlds' will be available through 'The Manifestation' only after you beat the story, weather you unlocked them or not. (Yes, even if you have not unlocked them yet their world will be available, and you will encounter them at the Boss Battle area. They will not be hostile, and will ask you to help them fight the boss.)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Adventure Mode: Similar to Melee's. We'll use the same textures and blocks and bg's and all in the individual levels. Ex. In LoZ's levels, it'll have the same layout as the area of their 'world' in Story Mode. This is the layout.
Stage One: Mushroom Kingdom: Ah, glorious ol' Mushroom Kingdom. Simply get to the finish. I'll let you guys make the level designs up. However, if we can try to make this Mushroom Kingdom look like it did in Bowser's inside story, since we're using the new kiddy Bowser, that'd be great.
Stage Two: Mario, Peach and Bowser
Really? Bowser too? Yes.
This should be at the 'Peach's Castle' stage.
Stage Two redo: Luigi, Peach with Daisy recolor, and Bowser battle.
Same thing, except Luigi and Peach are harder.
Stage Three: Kongo Jungle. Fight your way through kremling troops to the finish.
Stage Four: Giant Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong battle.
Put this in a new DK stage if we have one.
Stage Five: Hyrule Castle (TP design)
Find your way to the top of the castle.
Stage Six: Link and Zelda battle.
Do this stage in Hyrule Castle (TP).
Stage Seven: Samus Battle.
Fight Samus at Brinstar.
Stage Eight: Brinstar/Race to the finish.
Exactly like in Melee. Get to the top before you a'splode.
Stage Nine: Kirby Battle.
Fight Kirby on Green Greens.
Stage Ten: Dreamland.
Get to the end of a Dreamland Course.
Stage Ten and a half: Gooey Battle.
You can only play this stage if you beat the other two Kirby Stages with Kirby. Just beat him, finish Adventure and he gets unlocked, like Luigi.
Stage Eleven: Fox Battle.
Fight Fox on Corneria.
Stage Twelve: Fight Crystal.
Fight Crystal (or sometimes Falco, if he is available) on Lylat Cruise.
Stage Thirteen: Pokemon Battle.
Fight Pikachu and Three weak and light Pokemon Trainers with each individual pokemon out. The PT's will not switch pokemon.
Stage Fourteen: F-Zero on foot.
Same as Melee.
Stage Fifteen: Mother 3 Stage.
Fight 10 Light and weak Lucas's.
Stage Sixteen: Fight the Ice Climbers.
Simply Fight the Ice Climbers on some Ice Climber stage.
Stage Seventeen: Fight new Misc. Enemies such as Alloys/Wire Frames.
Whatever they are, there will be 20 of them. And they'll be light and weak.
Stage Eighteen: Fight Metal Mario/ Metal Mario Bros./ Metal Wario/ Metal Wario Bros.
Either you fight Metal Mario, The Metal Mario Bros.(If you have Luigi), Metal Wario in his Classic Wario outfit, or The Metal Wario Bros. (if you have Waluigi unlocked).
Stage Nineteen: Master Hand Battle.
Same as Melee, down to the moves and the conditions Crazy Hand comes in.
----------------------------------
Classic Mode: Same as the others. It will follow Melee's pattern with alterations, as shown:
# Stage 1: 1 vs 1 (Opponent chosen at random from a list of characters)
# Stage 2: 2 vs 2 (Ally is chosen at random from the list of unlocked characters to fight another team of also random characters.)
# Stage 3: Target Test (Like Brawl's, one style test a difficulty)
# Stage 4: 1 vs 1 (Opponent chosen at random from a list of characters)
# Stage 5: 3 vs 1 Giant Character (Allies chosen at random from a list of unlocked characters while a giant character is chosen out of a list of giant characters randomly)
# Stage 6: Toad Room (Like the ones in Mario Games. When you walk in there will be 5 Boxes. A Toad will be at the right of them and tell you to choose one. Walk to one and break it open. A prize will come out. The prizes are chosen from Cd's, Cards, Stickers, and blank spaces. It is always random, there may be 1 Cd, 2 Cards, one blank and one Sticker, or 2 Cd's, 1 Card, and two blanks, or any other combination.)
# Stage 7: 1 vs 1 (Opponent chosen at random from a list of characters)
# Stage 8: 1 vs 10 of the same character (Teams are chosen at random out of a list, and the copies will be weak and incredibly light.)
# Stage 9: Race to the Finish
# Stage 10: 1 vs 1 Metal character (Opponent chosen at random from a list of metal characters)
# Stage 11: 1 vs Master Hand (and sometimes Crazy Hand. This version of Master hand is like the one from previous games and so is Crazy Hand.)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
I really hope you guys agree with this. This took forever. D<

C&C?
I'm starting to not like the idea much anymore.
EDIT: Idea of Story Mode. Everything Else seems good.

Pretty much this. Just not another attempt at a "story" a la SSE, please.
Here's the deal.
Each character gets an openning scene showing off that character. Like you know how at the end of classic mode where it says "Congragulations"? Sorta like that except introducing them.

That would be really interesting then what would we do for the ending. Also maybe all characters should have their own music to it as well.

We could do that, it would be cool, and for the music, I wouldn't say their own music, but more of a remix, like in Super Mario World/NSMBWii, when you ride Yoshi, drums come in the music until you get of of him in anyway, so maybe along those lines.
Something like kirby nightmare in dreamland would be cool. The museum places where you got power-ups would be new characters (If you are kirby you could suck them up X3)
