No.. don't really enjoy the 3rd and 4th generation Pokemon as much. The 1st was pretty much the best and the 2nd was pretty good.

To be completely honest, I've never even played the 4th generation Pokemon games. Wouldn't mind playing them, but I kind of lost interest after Emerald.

Sugimori allmost single handedly designed 1-251, so it makes sense that some peolpe like them more than the rest, which were made bt teams of artists. Boo is probably just a fan of Sugimori's style wheather he knows it or not.

That's probably the case. Learn something new everyday and yes I love that fucking style.

yes i actually learned that recently lol and i came to that conclusion as well. but its not just the pokemon designs that made gen 3 the best (of course HGSS blows it out of the water right now)

I hoenestly think Gold/Silver had the best in terms of rising action
platinum was alot better than dp
r/s/e had the best begginig, with your dad being a catalys for the game

And gold's end with red was the most epic part of pokemon as of yet

but emerald finished it off with a struggle, a battle between the titans foreshadowed by the rivalries between two warring teams. it wasnt just about making a frilly dress for your pokemon so the looked nice in their senior picture it was about stopping the elemnts form destroying each other.

d/p was so anti climatic you fight team glactic and they are building up all the tools they need to summont he ultimat epokemon then before it can do anything you hug it and make up and it lets you catch it without even scratching the ground on the earth before it was quelled
