Zee's is better, the size is fine. I didn't read the whole topic but so you may have started doing it custom but here's some advice: DON"T EDIT! DON"T USE BASES! MAKE IT CUSTOM!

I'm assuming that the sheet on page 3 is the latest sheet? It still looks MUCH to megaman-y, with the huge rounded one piece boots and gloves. I'm not really good at this myself, but I tried to improve yours.

Mine is on the left.
I fixed up a few lines to try to take away the "huge boot syndrome", because the legs should be about the same width the whole way, and not suddenly get extremely large. I tried to take away some of the roundness, but it didn't work too well.
Also, it looked like some of the megaman-ness came from the shading, so I decided to pillow it since the rest of the stuff is pillowed also. I know I shouldn't do that, but I wasn't sure where to put the lightsource if I was to shade it normally. Also I lightened up the eyes, trying to make it look more human. It didn't work, much.

But uhh, yeah. Someone else give it a shot.

The other stuff on the sheet like the attacks are also pillow shaded. I did that because i wasn't sure where to put the light source. I also fixed a few lines. I didn't just change the shading.

Note:
If he is capable of editing without pillowshading, and you, who can only pillowshade, try to tell him how to improve, your advice will not be heard.
Besides, the lineart of your edit just looks worse.

Also, his attacks are made of energy, so they can be pillowshaded. Tabuu (though technically still composed of energy), has a more definite and solid form.

No. It's not that it's hard to shade, but I was just unsure of what to do. Tell me where the light source is here.
