so how many times did you try to play the game without using the stealth element, get spotted, and die before you realized it was a stealth-action game and shut it off in rage
I love the Katamari Damacy series, played the hell out of We love Katamari and loved every moment.
But whenever I mention it to other people they look at me like I'm a freak or something.
They really need to learn to enjoy actual good games rather than mainstream fps shit.

It was just Boktai with less awesomeness.
I'd be willing to bet Ghost Babel is nothing like Boktai, at all

Well... not much, it's sort of stealth with Boktai, but it's more puzzles with Boktai, I don't mind stealth but it's pretty boring if the whole game is that way.
You guys are all doing this topic wrong.

Sonic R.

I played the shit out of that game. Loved every moment of it, even the cheesy europop soundtrack that went with it.

LIVING IN THE CITY
YOU KNOW YOU HAVE TO SURVIVE
(LIVING IN THE CITY)
YOU'VE GOTTA KEEP THE DREAM ALIVE
(LIVING IN THE CITY)
WHERE EVERYTHING IS FREE
(LIVING IN THE CITY)
CAN'T YOU SEE

the game isn't that bad
great soundtrack, great track designs, just the game itself that is a tad boring. just boring, it wasn't shitty
and I swear to god, when I hear/read people bitch about Sonic R's soundtrack, I want to beat them to death

I personally think the soundtrack is amazing, as cheesy as it is
SUPER SONIC RACING AAAHASDJSGHDJGHK

and I can honestly say that I enjoyed the gameplay as well (though to rokkan's point, it is a bit boring)

that's because boktai is a kiddified version of MGS with a bit more puzzle solving and the sun sensor

the sliding/knocking on walls and all of the stealth elements are directly from mgs

In fact, MGS even scores you for NOT killing people. The point of the game is, as previously stated, stealth. Your weapons are only for when you need them.
I know, what's your point? Like I said it's got elements from MGS and more puzzles.
Alien Soldier
before it was in the virtual console, almost everyone I knew disliked it. My cousin was all eww let's play Bomber Man.

Can anyone help me find the name of a game (on the Mega Drive?) where you control four (or six? I forgot) soldiers all at once? Soldiers as in the bomber, flamethrower, etc. That game owned.

Its either

or Cannon Fodder

Or Alien Storm

(although doubt the third one is the one you're talking about).

also, Alien Soldier its so beatiful, and hard, and awesome. it even shares some music with Gunstar Heroes
