The only good ones were Dracula X and Symphony of the Night.

Have you even bothered to play any of the other ones?

Saying Symphony of the Night is better is something I can understand, I mean, it is an excellent game that pretty much set the standard for many games to follow. And you know what, I'm gonna respect your right to an opinion, you don't have to like the games.
But Dracula X? Like.. the SNES Dracula X? Don't get me wrong, it's a great game, but I thought the series has done better than that, personally.

It was a horrible port of a better game that had no real sense of structure or progression, and a step backwards from SCIV

I quite liked Castlevania 2 on NES, even though it was hard and had pixel-perfect jumps (nevr finished). I'll need to play SOTN, and AOS, CIII and Order of Ecclesia, which doesn't seem too bad. I've only played DOS, POR and C64 apart from that... oh, and that GB one, it's the toughest I've played (never finished).

I got halfway through CV2 but since actually beating it requires you to do things in a certain order, I'll have to restart it since I forgot where I was at.

i just ordered aos on ebay so im pretty stoked

I want it.
Speaking of which, I need to buy the 3 GBA ones. I never owned them, but I really want AoS.
