we do communicate, fairly often, but we don't spend our time talking about videogames :I

i literally just shit myself

heh!!!!!! i'd believe tekken but the other two ithink she likes just because you like it ^__________^

i wonder
if
my girlfriend would play guilty gear
My girlfriend plays guilty gear. Anime lmao omg look at ky so kawaii!~
tbh, so many people love Tekken nowadays. Practically anyone with a PSP has tdr or has played it.

Anyway, wouldn't having a gamer girlfriend be overkill, especially if you spend a lot of time on games to begin with? You know, on second thought, I'm glad my gf isn't a gamer. O__O

Really because a lot of people that I know HATE Tekken because they can't grasp the concept of a juggle or something I don't know
Really? A lot of basic juggles can be managed with a bit of controlled button mashing.

ESCAPING from a juggle is the fustrating part.
I remember playing that game.

I never won a single match of that shit.
i am not a fan of tekken/virtua fighter. all i want to do is throw a fireball when i play them
Tekken is fun (especially with Eddy Gordo) but I loathe Virtua Fighter with a passion.
If they use practice mode, they could easily learn some juggles. But, yeah, the haters are mostly the "ok how do i hadouken" type. If you think about it, if a girl went "how do i hadouken", she'd probably be a decent "gamer". I don't think any of the girls I've met know how to execute a hadouken in-game.

Virtua Fighter is a dead end. Shitsux.
Best fighter is still Guilty Gear for me, but that might change if I get to play some more of Tatsunoko.

Capcom Vs. Arc would be a beautiful, beautiful thing. ASW has a large enough cast to choose from now, too.
facepalm.. Poor Mario. Even I don't wear makeup.

Basic juggles, sure. Just like how in Street Fighter, low kick, low kick, sweep kick is a basic combo. And that's cute and all, but it's all about controlling your opponent by using simple combos as starters to mess up their guard, and then finishing the combo with flashy/powerful moves for maximum damage, or in the case of Tekken, starting up ANOTHER combo.

Also, Virtua Fighter is a GREAT series. It doesn't hold a candle to Tekken imo but it's still fun to go to if you're looking for realistic fighting. Virtua Fighter focuses more on simplicity and making the moves in-game look like they hurt, rather than flashy stuff. VF is obviously not for everyone but it's fairly legit in itself.
I wish I was half decent at fighting games. Not enough of them come out for Nintendo systems and I never really have the money to spend on a new system or at the arcade, otherwise I'd play them more often. :c
i totally suck at figthing games and thats the reason i always avoid them(wich doesnt mean i hate them). even since today i cant really do a hadouken properly without throwing some punchs and/or jumps randomly.

i'd rather watch others play, most of the time i am more amazed by the moves some people can pull out of nowhere.
or out of a character guide HURR
