Perhaps you should actually compare them next time. Their heads don't even match up with each other. The only similar thing is the eye/pupil size.

EDIT:
Also, even if it did the heads did match, there's the chance that it could have been a mere coincidence. Happened to me once.

Not MUCH else you can do. I suggest working on Olimar now. Then compare the Pikman with him.

Head, feet, arm and hands are done.

Uh, on the Pikmin, your colors need more contrast and saturation.

Olimar is blocky and the shading is incredibly ugly and underused.

The noses have different colors becuse the first one is the color in brawl, the second is Pikmin, and the Therd is Pikmin 2
