I went ahead and made the section icon since we don't have any wow sheets.
Can someone tell me how to make the sheet icon and section icon into links or do I just submit them and the admins will put them together?
I agree with Norsk, it's a swell idea to add 3d models to the resource. Makes sense, since textures are pretty useless by themselves (you won't be able to use it for anything but reference/inspiration).
having 3D models on the site would be a huge change on what the site has been giving so far, btu i guess the spirit would be the same.
Maybe a rule should be added about "useful renders" or something along those lines?

That's what I'm thinking.
allow pre-rendered 3d sprites
textures
and models
And a tutorial on how to view them.
???
in other words, close this thread and start a new one where we could decently discuss about the inclusion of 3D models into the site.
I still say that we disallow this sheet (aside from the texture rips) because it isn't prerendered or a full model.
Not to mention the repeatedly ignored fact that for this to ever become a complete sheet would require quadrillions (yes, that's a real number) of frames.
actually, there is an infinite number of frames. factors like skeletal animations, rotation, and zoom really mess this idea up

Already been allowed because we've already accepted 3d renders with textures to the site before. Already talked about that Viper...
Next one in the works:

Show me, please.
Show me a sheet with print screened models that isn't a sheet that you made, or from Star Fox or Donkey Kong.
Other Systems > S > Super Mario Galaxy > Boo Mario
DS > N > NEW Super Mario Bros. > Broozer
There's the references. 3d renders with and without texture sheets approved by administrators and posted by the administrators of tsr.
One more thing Vipe, if you make the cut-and-dry statement that every single possible angle and every single zoom has to be covered then we need to completeley redo all of the sheets on the Starfox sheets on this site. Just look at them they are DEFINATELEY not covering every angle and zoom available ingame for the arwing AND the carrier. (if the organizer of those sheets reads this please don't be offended I think your sheets are excellent, I'm arguing an invalid point one of my critics is making.)

I'll start working on a tutorial for viewing WoW models if no one else wants to.
you're seriously ignoring my posts, aren't you?
I specifically said that those were allowed because the game is locked to a single 90 degree angle, and from normal play it'd be impossible to capture the rest.
I'm talking in circles here. Stop ignoring me.
Is Super Mario Galaxy is locked to a 90 degree angle?
Is Starfox for the SNES locked to a 90 degree angle?
Super Mario Galaxy is completely 3D. So is NSMB, even though the gameplay suggests 2D. I don't know why those sheets are up there, but notice that the SMG file includes textures for people to use since it's a 3D game.
The Star Fox sheet pretty much DOES cover all directions because it's a limited 3D game, however. The "model" can't be ripped because of how simplistic it is, so it practically is a sprite.
