I never finished X (or ANY Final Fantasy for that matter) but
I think I remember that being hinted some point in the storyline.
Yes he was. Thats why he is closer to Kefka rather then Sephiroth in my thing.
Jecht seems pretty cool from what I know of Final Fantasy X, but Kefka was completely insane and tried to bring about the apocalypse,

And thats why Kefka goes first Cute
Turns out the PS2 doesn't entirely work, as it refuses to read discs of any sort. I'm gonna see a guy about getting it repaired when I get back home, though, so all may not be lost.

And even if it can't be repaired, hey, there's no such thing as having too much trebuchet ammunition. Cute

Good sir, I believe you are a fucking mind-reader.

(Seriously, He basically keeps his dead mother's head in a box and probably strokes it before he goes to bed like some sort of stuffed animal. The worst thing he does in the ENTIRE game is basically Kill Aerith. He is a piss poor excuse for a villain. Sorry for the rant but I do like me a good villain.)

Actually the best thing he does in the entire game, that was the sole reason I enjoyed him. Aeris was annoying and her death was a poor way to keep the plot going. If you guys check, the party was quite aimless just right before the City of Ancients, and the party wasn't a group of friends, where a bunch of misfit hanging out because they had similar objectives, but they weren't friends. Cloud is a poor main character. When they released Crisis Core the first thing I thought: "FF7 would be a thousand times better if Zack was the main character...It would be pure awesomeness." And Sephiroth finally got a personality! But enough of JRPG, looks like Rai don't enjoy it pretty much

Maybe Dynasty Warriors? I played one of them and it was fun to kill more than 500 random soldiers in one battle by yourself, while you can actually see your troops attacking the enemy army.
Chaos Legion is also a great DMC-style fun, but short.

True but still, in my book you kinda need to be less of a Pansy in order to be a good villain.

Anyway something else to get you for your PS2 (if it works that is.) Is the first Jak and Dextar games. It's quite fun.
That's true. I call him "old hag" for obvious reasons.

I mentioned th Prince of Persia: Sands of Time? Pure awesomeness.
The only marginally good Tomb Raider on PS2 is Legends, but the Anniversary one is fun too (remake).
while I'm still at the beginning of the first disc of FFVII, I think Aeris is a cool character
she's definitely not the "moe" type character I thought she'd be before playing the game
No, but she's the type of "damsel in distress" that was created to force you to get attached to her because she's cute, delicate and blahblahblah. And she got even more annoying at Crisis Core
"But SOLDIERS must be like monsters. All they do is fight! I'm scared of them!" "I don't like the sky, it's so...Big. I'm afraid of it" *sigh* Why Zack didn't date Cissnei? She's cooler :/

Everyone is missing the point of this thread. Trolling you hard about FF.
Anyway, DON'T get Armored Core it doesn't do justice to Giant Robots in the slightest too much like Grand Turismo not enough was done to make the game fun in terms of fighting other robots. the Z.O.E games are good hunt them and get them.

People already said it but Shadow of Colossus, I hate to reiterate, but I gotta educate and demonstrate the fact the game's effn' sweet. There's a time in life where like a wife something knock you off your feet. Plus the fact I had to act like this was a track that could pass to sell a good game was dumb but I had fun so we'll end it here son.

Also DBZ Infinite World probabaly the pinnacle of good fighting in any DBZ game. Ever.
Armored Core has a good concept, but it's just way TOO detailed.
Lots of customization, but the actual gameplay is bad.
