What hidden meanings?
Square Enix told us that when it approached Amano to do the logo art for FFXIV, that weapons were very important and to think of the concept of a "wheel." Specifically, a wheel of adventurers that has their weapon in front of them and an exposed backside -- which leaves each adventurer to rely heavily on their comrades and their friends. Let the speculation begin.

Anything else about the weapons?
The team let slip to us that choosing weapons for specific tasks one day versus another could affect how your character develops.

Effing TRUTH. God, they need to make another one modeled off that particular story.

In other news, if I have to pay to do everything like in 11 screw it. Rather wait for 15. Know what I'm hearing though? 14 is an excuse for the team to step off main numerals for awhile. That's why Fabula Nova Crystallis is so huge with 2 main title games and a cell phone game.

What's with evryone whining about F2P? You know it's not much right. like $12/mo. I make that in 2 hrs. TWO. TWO hours out of a whole month.

I'm glad to see the payments have been adjusted to 30 day increments, at least. I felt a bit cheated with the monthly charging.

On a sidenote, as they're dropping the PlayOnline system, private servers may actually be possible?
