Sonic Fangame in need of spriters. [lots of content]

Like Flare said it tells you exactly how to turn it off if you toggle it. Also, your image doesn't show up.

Please don't derail the topic. Most of these responses were about the fact that some people will have sticky keys pop up when they play this... That's not what the original post is about. =/

As far as the game goes, I'm actually looking for some suggestions on what to include as attack moves. [I don't need people to sprite this stuff specifically. Just some ideas would be nice. I'll gather the effects and program the moves myself. I just need some brainstorming since I make most of this game myself and it drains some creativity. ]

Here's what is needed:

Plant Shield:
Left and Right Specials
Down Special

Lightning Shield:
Up Special
Left and Right Specials

Water Shield:
All specials. Up, down, left, right and neutral.

Wind Shield:
All specials.

Earth Shield:
All specials.

All of these moves can be offensive and defensive moves. Anything that would add combat tactics would be awesome too. I actually had an idea to make the down special for the earth shield a counter attack. Most like Ike or Marth in Brawl. Of course, if these moves are new and they require a new animation, obviously I would need the animation as well.

I've also been doing custom sprites. I'm not too great with animation so I'll definitely need help bringing my sprite creations to life.

I actually have all the seperate parts and a few different things [like head poses and whatnot] for this so if anyone is interested on working on it with me, I'd be more than happy to share what I have.

Sorry about that.

One thing you could do is add some new moves each time you get a chaos emerald. I don't know how you plan to have them in this game, but it would be cool if they were optional like in the old games, but you got a big reward for getting them all. Maybe you could have a hyper mode like state that you can stay in longer or becomes more powerful each time you get another chaos emerald. Just throwing some ideas out there.

Oh and that Mecha Sonic sprite looks great! Will he be playable?

Mecha Sonic will not be playable but he WILL be your helper. Knuckles, Tails and Mecha Sonic will be pretty much Player 2, controlled by AI just like Sonic 2/3. Once they are unlocked in the story, before you choose a stage, you can choose who comes to help you. They all appear based on the story so when you're in story mode and you havent beaten the game you'll have to use the helper that is chosen by story.

As far as Chaos Emeralds go. They ARE optional. You can beat the game without them BUT if you DO have them, the final [ahem...] battle is somewhat like Doomsday Zone in sth3. Now... if you have all 7 shields AND all 7 chaos emeralds, you can go Hyper and unlock yet another final battle. The true ending for Mecha Madness. Hyper Sonic will be way faster and stronger than any form but his rings will deplete faster.

I have a question regarding your programming, how did you create your enemy ai, is it sensors or built in features of MMF 2? You obviously don't need to answer but its just cause I never seemed to be able to create ai that you could interact with like yours.

Sensors and lots of hours of advanced programming[as far as MMF2 goes] and mathematics.

Anyways, here is the MKIII spritesheet. I would greatly appreciate if someone could help me animate this. I don't like some of the animations I've come up with.

The MK sprites look more like a shrunken down version of the original rather than an actual sprite in the style.

GBA/ Battle styled sprites are usualy smaller than genesis sprites aren't they?

I think the point he was making was more that it looks like he just shrunk down the original sprite instead of re drawing it or editing it to fit in with the battle style.

If you can sprite, why do you want spriters to make sprites for you? I mean c'mon. You're BG's and Level sprites rule! Isn't that level of spriting skill enough?

Just showing up and going "HELP ME!" isn't really going to yield you much success. All 've gleaned so far is that you have an engine that's progressing without the need of any of us, and you have sprites that you're doing that you're not changing.

That's not a lot of opportunities to help, right there.

Furthermore, this board isn't designed soley to have people make threads and demand assistance. It's also for project critique and advice - which we have given; but you seem to deem as 'off topic'.
