I suggest we let our own personal desires aside and think about what characters are really deserving of being a character. Because it shouldn't be a decision on their potential movesets, or how "cool" they are. Its about their importance.

There's a hierarchy here. You can't put in one character before another if one character is more important.

Really think about it, what character is important enough?

Is Gooey important enough? No. But I'm not going to argue with you guys since all of you want him in there.

Lolo isn't very popular, though he still appears in Kirby titles, but I'm gonna work on him anyway, even if he doesn't make the cut.

Well that's where I think downloadable characters come in. Characters that don't seem like they deserve to be in the game won't be in it right off the bat. But the less deserving can be downloaded later.

That's why we should set up a way to vote so we can determine who will make the cut.

How about the only characters who "make the cut" are just the original 12 from SSB64. Then everyone else can be downloaded later...

Or better yet, whoever has finished sprites first are the ones who "make the cut."

Maybe we should get a bit of work done on the people being considered on this page, primarily the original cast members.

Sorry, I'm only good with editing. But I could help with Dr. Mario, since all you have to do is edit the real Mario.

PIK the moderator of the smash bros project is doing Ness Arthur is doing Fox and No one is doing kirby if you need pics of their attacks I can help you with him

you guys are acting like we have hundreds of sheets done and ready and we have to be choosy to keep from overflowing the game with characters. We really only have a couple sheets that are done and up to standards. chances are in the end only a small fraction of the intended roster will be ready and most of them will be fantasy smash characters.

Like I said before. Original 12, some melee, some brawl, and the rest are fantasy.
