Delicious Wonderbros
One could make that case for RPGMaker, though. I believe in skill.

good point. Same as the point I was making, too. Hi5!

The only thing I have against drag-and-drop interfaces is that they're really limiting. But most drag-and-drop interfaces can be ignored and just hardcoded entirely. I like to think of it as second option, and it's a nice little way to save time or get new people interested in the product.

But that's a bit off topic; stuff is lookin' great guys!

Have you seen Mecha's other games?

The amount of time that it takes to produce a result is the only thing you have to worry about in game development. I used to program games in c++, but gamemaker is just so much easier and faster to use.

Nope, how much pocket cash do they make?

Ever think they are just making this for fun and not profit?

Never said they weren't. But the post was about selling and he quoted it talking about other games, which in context insinuates that the other games made money.

...None?
They're freeware. I was talking more about the quality/fun of the games. (talking about the "despite the drag 'n drop" part. should've phrased that better.)

Yo
If you were at PxC, you would know that Mecha's been fired by 1up and I'm his replacement.
You would also know that progress is coming along smoothly.
You would even know that I will have a tech demo for the movement/animation part of the engine sometime this week.
And even more importantly you would know that I am not programming this in MMF2. Do not bug me about this D&D crap.

Glad we got that squared away. Now my plans for Delicious Wonderbros is much more different than Mecha's. I program. I don't control anything but the code. I don't want to get in 1up's way. If it isn't perfect, you may point things out, but don't piss and moan. I don't have a super-cool automatic coding bitch like MMF2. I program at a lower level (closer to the core), so things are much harder. Sorry to come off as an ass, but I'm sick and tired of poser-devs telling me how to do things and how cool RPGMaker/GameMaker/MultimediaFusion2 is when it is not really programming.

That's pretty much all I have to say.
