Man you're quick, but wait, no in battle sprites? I'm guessing they'll have their own sheet, right?

I don't intend to rip them, but in any case, I'd assume so if somebody wishes to rip them.

edit: Tomorrow, I intend to rip the pokémon overworlds. It'll probably take the entire day, however.

Dazz, awesome job. Not to nitpick but, there were 4 more overworlds sets for the trainers. Kinda like a GB palette version & then the trainers without their pokemon training clothes on (kinda like normal clothes). Here are the addresses for them: 047EF604, 047EF8C8, 04717DD0 & 0471B3F8 (select those from the dropdown list). From what I can tell, that should be it for the trainers. Again, awesome job & I'm glad that I could be of some help. Unfortunately, I'm in my 5th (& last year of college) or I'd be ripping the overworld sprites right now

I recalled so many people wanting to rip HGSS, even I, but sadly I can't get my rom to work .lol
Anyway I notice you only ripped the HG intro, but not the SS, but really the only thing missing is the lugia and its Background, but other then that ya the intros are the same, but hey, I should not be picky, having an intro is better then no intro, and ripping can be a hard job.
And I can't wait to see the overworled pokemon, but really take all the time you want, we can wait.
Anyway, awesome job, love how everything looks.

All updated, there seems to be unused overworld sprites for the male one too, with a slightly different haircut for his normal clothing sprites.

Somebody else has been ripping the Pokémon overworlds, so I'm out of luck in choices of ripping that. I'll hunt for more things to rip.
edit: I'm going to rip the pokémon icons in the menus, I've ripped 350 so far.

Sorry but there's a lot of incorrectly coloured bits and bobs in there, and everything is else is either ripped or... Well, not of use.

I'd like to share the HG/SS Sprite Pack I made, a collection of over Pokémon 20,000 sprites coming from HeartGold/SoulSilver.

If you're wondering why there are sooo many, well... consider this: the parent folder has two main branches, Original and Transparent. The first contains all the sprites exactly like they were found on the games. The latter is similar except all backgrounds are transparent. Inside both Original/Transparent folders, you can find 3 other sub-folders: Both Frames, First Frame and Second Frame. Pretty self-explanitory. Anyway, these sub-folders all have 2 sub-folders: Normal and Shiny. Both Normal and Shiny have 2 sub-folders each: Back and Front. Finally, both Back and Front are splitted into Male and Female.

If it's any useful, (considering the time it took me to dump them, crop them, organize them and optimize them) please give credit whenever used.
Okay, enough talking... go get the sprites here.
