You do realize how many different characters Sega has made through various games over the years right? No I'm not talking about the absurd amount of characters in the Sonic series.

your opinion means nothing to me. sega has no unique and memorable characters for me outside of sonic and alex kidd

gunstar heroes was published by sega but its a treasure game and marinas already in here

I think that we should be looking on Nintendo and Hal's past to see undiscovered potential fighters. Characters don't go by popularity. Some characters don't even get popular until they are in smash bros.

Take a look at Pit for example

True but they can't be just any willy-nilly they have to have some significance to Nintendo. I believe that's most important.

Seriously though... Let's think in terms of historical icons. Not current popularity.

Pac-Man sucks, Koopaul. Nobody but you cares about him. Accept it.

Also, replace Sora with Crono if you so wish. I don't care. Point is, Square is a more important gaming partner with Nintendo and the Final Fantasy franchise is singlehandedly more iconic in gaming than Pac-Man and Bomberman.

Hey here is John new to Spriters resource.
Like to see you guys discussing about Super Bros game. I was wondering that since some characters are sideways in game but most are in 3/4 like Mario, I was thinking what would be the line to decide who faced what direction. well, I like to do some stuff that isn't always brawl, like modding music in games. supported by a reason I'm sure we have all heard before by now.... It is not a video game character. He is a cartoon charactor.

I'm all for Simon and Isaac but with the other two I really hope you're trolling.

I just don't think one company should get more than one character/series in. At least not right now. If/When we add DLC, maybe we could, but right now, I think every character should get an Equal chance. It doesn't have to be those third party characters but still.

I added Vaati cause I couldn't think of any LoZ characters that I think to replace Toon Link right off the top of my head. Don't really want him i(Vaati) n.

Why did you get rid of Lucario and Toon Link?

Lucario, I never did like him mainly because all of his moves were like Someone's Else's, Save for his UpB. I meant to replace him with another nonGen1 Pokemon, But I forgot.


Toon Link, I just don't see the reason of having more than one version of the Same Character. Ton even said so himself, and I feel we can replace him with another LoZ rep.

Both can be edited back to Lucario or Toon link. Doesn't matter.
