Let's face it getting your "typical girl" to be interested in games is a challenge for these guys who have been making games for dudes for years. They have no idea what to do.

Sadly it seems to work. All the girls on my Facebook play that stupid Farmville or fashion whatever. They'd never dream of touching something good.

I convinced my female cousin into owning a DSi, she got Littlest Pet House and crap.

I hate to say it but a lot of girls fit that stereotype, no offense.

you cant force people to do stuff they dont want. if they're not interested, or its not related to their interests, then its not going to work.

I'm not forcing anything. Or do you mean the companies who make girl games? Either way the girls seem to play some of them despite this.

Have to agree there. Though many girls who call themselves "gamers" probably don't touch the "girl games," there are still enough girls who do play them that they are still somehow able to sell, though not necessarily extremely well.

if you were a girl with a minimun sense of what is a game you'd never touch the games that are labeled as "girl games".
Peach's game was girly enought but still managed to be a fun AND femenine game that catchs both genres to play it.

I found Super Princess Peach to be really fun
