Considering Unleashed is devoid of camera and control problems, I don't see why there would be problems again.

A lot of new games include gimmicks. Sunshine and Galaxy are perfect examples of what Super Mario 64 is like with updated specs and a gimmick. I'm not insulting those Mario games (though I still dislike Galaxy), but you will find that gimmicks are more common than you think. Heck, Link transforming into a wolf was a gimmick too. Gimmicks are what sell games.

If I recall correctly, they (interviewees) said Knuckles would have dual swords.

It seems that swords are going to be the primary weapon for every character. I wonder if Shadow, who they said would be in it, will have a two-handed sword? Tails might have a foil for fencing and Amy or another character could have a dagger or shield.

The gimmicky bits in Galaxy also knocked it down a bit. Gimmicks make things bad, which is why the Wii and DS has so much shovel-ware, it's too easy to add a stupid gimmick.

My gosh, they're turning Sonic from a 2d platformer/Dragon Ball Z rip-off to a 2d RPG platformer/Final Fantasy/LoZ rip-off. If they do make it I more likely won't buy it.

Normally I just borrow these off my nephew for a day or 2 until I just don't want to play them anymore. Buying Sonic games is just silly.
