don't sacrifice your integruity to deal with metagame since the loser bracket probably won't have alot of that anyway.

Honestly, PTA is the only one playing the metagame right now. 1/2 of his team could be considered standard metagame, which technically is against tournament rules.

pretty much anybody running sets off smogon has an advantage
more than PTA does that

only pokemon on my team that is evn close to metagame is cacturne but hes not off smogon hes off my own knowledge of cacturne

theres plenty of ways to be challenging than using smogon moves

yeah but this metagame garbage isn't fun to play against at all
especially when someone has nothing to fight back with

for example chad could have just started with garchomp and sweept half the teams in the tourney
but he used alt of originality, and is the most fun to play against

So since I'm out, I'm gonna tweak my movesets more on the off chance I actually get back in.. I even have an idea for a theme team based on the bosses of Clash at Demonhead, but unfortunately that only works in a team that is not limited to one type. =/
