Message to REAL old users
Hey, dunno how many of you that were here in 2003-05ish back when I used to post are still here but, I've decided to start posting on the forums again.
What I'm liking
I'm especially impressed with TSR as of late, constant updates, the search feature is fantastic and the icons that Bacon created many years ago are still in use which rules. I'm also loving the Model Resource, although it's going to take a while to build up the database it's off to a great start. Although More Mario please less Sonic
What I do Now
Ok so those of you (if any) who remember me will probably remember that I came here looking for sprites for my flash movies back in the day, and really got stuck into the community. I left the whole sprite movie thing behind and progressed to Flash animation, worked with many other flash animators etc.
In more recent years I've turned my attention to Film and Visual Effects and will be pursuing a career in the TV/Film industry. I've recently had one of my films screened at the British Film Institute, which was awesome and the film has won best screenplay at the Sheffield No Limits film festival.
So yeah I've come a long way from here.
So why return?
Nostalgia. I recently played Mario Galaxy 2 all the way through and have been re-inspired to make a Sprite Movie, but I can use my new skills and various softwares I've picked up to make it look and sound fantastic.
I have no idea what it will be about yet but... I have absolutely no doubt that I'll come up with it soon!
Anyhow, I'm now going to go and create an avatar and signature etc... See you around the forums!
