no really these are such bland "high schooler's first 'big questions'" thoughts (I don't think this is breaking any new ground for anyone here over the age of 15) i feel like this is what they think most of us are like and they're mocking us for it, maybe i'm giving them too much credit b/c that's kind of a complicated troll
edit: on the off chance i'm just paranoid and you're serious sorry dreameater!!! i don't mean to call you stupid in a roundabout way

I see what you mean actually! I'm thinking this is genuine though. IDK.
Regardless of whether it's for srs, I think the next post will be along the lines of:
"Electrons circle a nucleus
and planets circle a star
WHAT IF WE'RE ACTUALLY INSIDE AN ATOM"

what happens after death is honestly better not known
i mean for real, if it was 110% proven that after death you simply cease to exist i would honestly consider suicide. i mean, you live life and work and work and then die and its usually a pretty shitty process. most people are like "ohhhhahhh ooo but think about the people your leaving behind." if i was dead and didnt exist an had no thought processes anymore it would make it very hard to care
basically religion is necessary to me, its what keeps me from being a destructive person. if i didn't believe in some sort of redemption or afterlife, it kind of cripples the whole purpose of living this one.

yes and no, there are many types of reincarnation, the one i thought we were talking about was where you come back to earth after death without your memoriesand as a different person, i believe in going to heaven with all your memories and havin a fricken party all the time

well you said "i'm going with religion" as in "i am choosing an alternative to reincarnation" as though reincarnation wasn't a belief based in a religion and it isn't so i'm not seeing where that works
maybe you meant "i'm going with my religion (the one i currently have)"???

Thats what i meant, im stupid at night lol my bad
i personally believe that there might be nothing in the "afterlife" and you just stop living from there. but, that's why you should spend your life being as happy as possible. what's the point of being unhappy all of the time and hating life, then just going out unhappy and shitty when you eventually do, and pretty much that being your last memory
essentially unhappiness is completely worthless and only cripples us as people. be happy. but don't be a dumbass and "live every minute like it was your last" because that'll kill you faster than a terminal illness
but i'm also an overly optimistic human being so um
