It doesn't look bad for an edit, but why not try doing something from scratch? That's more widely accepted (here and most other pixel forums), and you seem to have the ability to do something like this without editing it.

Anyways, yeah, recolors aren't accepted anywhere, really, unless you want to go hang around Pokemon forums. Again, try making something from scratch. It's much easier to critique something you make all by yourself.

No, because frankly I'm not interested in recolors.

Like I said before, try making something from scratch, maybe in the KoF style if that's what you're comfortable with. Post that here and you'll get more constructive comments.

the result is not appealing. why?
1. you have made gradients with only value variation.
2. you have not touched anything that is black on the sprites.
3. you haven't finished editing these (look at the flame sprites).
now explain to me why you did this, exactly, please.

Unless you're a friend, no one wouldn't follow it unless there was a good reason given.

That's not a good enough reason.

If it's just going to be recolours, what's the point?

Not only that,
but you post other people's work.

Hell, even some of the spritesheet's actually say "TSR only" on them.

You also post .bmp,
which ends up looking like .jpg.
Which isn't worth looking at.

okay so you're enhancing these to make the sprites homogenous in your sprite comic, fine.
i appreciate you doing these for fun, for your sprite comic, and it's a good thing that you are, but...
