Exactly. How are we supposed too make a completely original Pokédex if we're just doing what's already been done?

Well whatever, he's gone now. How does everyone feel about my Coin Purse Pokemon? Should I add it to the list?

If you allow me to say something, I think I've got the answer to some issues I've been reading in previous posts.
First, I saw that many of you wanted a secondary type triangle for the starters. I saw something like Electric tigers too combat Water starters and the like, but I've got a better answer for that issue without modifying the starters at all: Instead of making the Grass Starter a Frilled Lizard, you could make it a Draco Volans, also known as flying lizard We can make the leaves in the shoulders of the lizard transform into a jacket that can unfold into wings for the next evos. That would make him Grass-Flying. Then, for the ram we could make it Fire-Rock to combat the Grass-Flying of the Grass Starter. Why Fire-Rock? Because Rams live in the rocky side of the mountains, plus their horns have been proven to be as hard as the rock. For the Desman, we could leave it pure Water, because in any case the Fire Starter would already be 4 times weaker against water. What do you think? (Love the project BTW) Thanked by: Baegal

that could work; fire/rock would be neat, actually.
I'm not sure if many people would want to change the lizard, but I'm fine with it
(Oh, and there really needs to be a new Fire/Rock type, other than Magcargo)
That seems nice idea, the only problem is that it's too much of dramatic change and it wouldn't be fair for everyone who voted for the Frilled Lizard.
Also I would worry about the Ram's super weakness to ground.

The lizard wouldn't be changed at all. It would remain the same, but it would develop leaf wings from it's frills for it's future evolutions.

I was thinking that instead of giving the Pokemon a secondary type we can have it learn moves of a different type.
The Ram learns Fire and Electric moves. But it's only Fire. Thanked by: Baegal

Why would the fire have to have a rock secondary typing anyway to combat grass/flying, since fire would still be super effective to grass.

Yeah the idea was that the secondary type would be strong against their weakness. Hence why I thought the Ram could have Electric moves so it can combat the Water type.

flying lizard could be the evo, it's a pretty good idea.

Bad Bug: Weedle, Spinarak, Burmy(?), and Fushide: A, while cute, somewhat mischeivous bug. Most are part poison Poisonous Blob: Grimer, Gulpin, and Yabakuron: Name explains it all. A pure poison type. I put up a toxic waste pokemon Although this has only been done once... Cute Fairy: Clefairy and Minccino: A very cute pokemon. When it evolves, it retains most of it's previous features. Psychic Fasionista: Jynx, Gardevoir, and Gochiruzeru: A Psychic type whose appearance is based on a certain type of Fashion. I put up an idea of a Bosozoku, or "biker girl", that ends up Psychic /Dark Fighter:Machop, Makuhita, and Dokkora: You know the deal. Cute legendary:Mew, Celebi, Jirachi, Manaphy, and Victini Electric Mammal: Mareep, Shinx, and Blitzle: An electric mammal. Generally uses an aspect of it's real life animal counterpart to release electricity Big Rock: Geodude, Aron(?), and Dangoro: Little rock like pokemon that eventually evolve into pokemon the size of boulders. Healer: Chansey, Miltank(?), and Tabbune: Pokemon that heal others. Water dweller: Poliwag, Wooper(?), Surskit(?), and Omataro: Amphibious water dwelling pokemon. So how does this look?
It's based on a sedimentary rock. Perhaps it's pokedex entry could be: It is very clumsy. The rocks on it's body are the results of falling. |
