I got... wait for it...

The Unown forms. They were completely devoid of UV data (thanks to Blender's 3DXML importing being crap), and it took a few tries before I could get a decent number at once (it only created as many objects as I had textures on-screen, which was dumb, but I spammed food drops in debug mode), and then, the real kicker, all the eye pieces were fused together (really, WTH?), so it was tons of fun piecing them back together, but I finally got them decent enough for my own use, though not good enough to submit.

I don't wanna tackle a project like that again.

If you like, you could send the 3DXML's to me to import them into Max so they come out better and I could give the result to you in a .DAE or something.

Finally managed to upload some pics of rips using 3dvia. Here are some pics of a rip from pokemon colosseum after hiding the battle arena in 3dxml viewer:

And here are the same models separated from each other after working with them in 3ds max. I haven't fixed the textures yet:

And a couple of rips from metroid prime 2 echoes:

Cool stuff, but... what's with the giant ball behind the blue Pokemon? I knew it had a tail, but I didn't think it was so big.

I think it's the blue ball that's on the tip of its tail.

Hmm... Some sort of 'bind model capture' compatibility list should be made with 3DVia. It'd be a great help for others who consider ripping Dolphin-emulated models with 3DVia, and want to make sure they don't go through the hassle for nothing.

i think there was an attack in the game where the tail becomes enlarged or something like that, it might just be like that for animation purposes or something....like i think it bounces on it's tail or something, maybe the tail ball gets smaller during the bounceing segment?

If you want to make a thread on that I wouldn't be against it, but it'd be a massive list so I don't know that it would be especially feasible.

Cool, you'll just want to either use one of the scripts for that I put up in this thread: http://www.spriters-resource.com/communi...?tid=13373 or upload it to their site and convert it that way. I much prefer directly importing, but its up to you.

Well if you don't know you got everything you may want to just check it in your 3D program first. If its missing a bunch of parts you'll need to fix it up before you submit it.

This isn't the place to necropost nor to spam. You'll be warned for both. Are you even really 13?
