While the types are different, we do need these to be somewhat unique in design, and I'm not sure if this idea will be.
If you can prove me wrong with a concept sketch, please be my guest.
That is very true, I totally forgot about anorith. Well, I had an idea a while back about a three staged evolution with a type of mudpig.
They would be pigs covered in mud, with a leaf on their heads. The leaf would get bigger as the evolutions continue, with the first stage only having his head covered, while the third stage would have his whole back covered. It could be ground/grass.
Well, I was doing my biology homework, and I realized something.
A lot of pokemon are based on animals, and that to my knowledge, there has not been A BACTERIA POKEMON.
The first stage would be a bacteriophage, steel poison, (thing that looks like a lunarcraft), and then, early on (level 15 or something), it would evolve into one of two evolutions, depending how many times that pokemon has been healed at the pokecenter. If it has been healed often, it would become a prokaryote looking pokemon. (Capsule body with a flagella tail). It would be water poison. If it has not been healed often, it would become a virus pokemon, just plain poison.

As for myself I'm going to see if I can get a poll started for the Mistletoe Bunny VS Seasonal Bunny.
I could give basic sketches of ideas for the bacteria idea in the next few days (whenever I'm not busy) if you want. Just to give everyone a general idea if they didn't get the picture through my description.

I thought the mistletoe bunny would be the winter form of the seasonal bunny .
Also, another idea inspried by science homework: A glacier Pokémon.
As for the rodent, how about we do something different and make a three-staged rodent. It would start out as a guinea pig, then become a Mara (See #8-7), and finally, a capybara.
Also, in the attachments are photos of a sculpture of the Chupacabra Pokémon (both normal and shiny). And, yes, that's a beam sword from a Gundam action figure that I have in my mouth.

Heyz! I'm New to tSR and saw this and i have TONS!!! Of pokemon designs ( I think I have over 150 but forgot some over the years ). Here are what they are:
- Chameleom/Lizard - Name: 1) Fryco 2) Igwarma 3) Chaarking
- Pumpkin/ Scarecrow - Name: 1) Pumpkore 2) Jack-o-lite 2) Scarkrow ( Firestone to get Jack-o-lite )
- Radio/DJ - Name: 1) Ra-dance 2) Dance J.
- Grass Dragon - Name: 1) Vinisaur
- Fire Dragon - Name: 1) Pyroraptor
- Water Dragon - Name: 1) Oceani-Rex
- Seaweed - Name: 1) Sweed 2) ???
- Hamster - Name: 1) Hammstar 2) Hammstro
- Firefly - Name: 1) Globug 2) Lavarae 3) Pyro fly
^ Those are all I can remember ^
POKEMON EVOLUTIONS THAT ARE FROM PREVIOUS GENS.
- Electrode -> Amptrode
- Kecleon -> Kingleon
EDIT:
BTW I will make a rough draft for da pill bug.
This I have a problem with. A Fire/Dragon type was attempted once before. Charizard was supposed to be Fire/Dragon, but was demoted to Fire/Flying because Fire/Dragon has no weaknesses and is an all-together broken type combination.

The chameleon sounds a lot like kecleon.
The fire dragon I feel would end up like Charizard. You also have Reshiram who is fire/dragon.
A seaweed pokemon?
Serperior kind of looks like a grass dragon.
I'm not trying to be mean, I just don't want to make the same pokemon twice.
I like the pumpkin/scarecrow idea, I think we could make a lot of cool designs from that.
Anyone else have any thoughts on

Those were the only Ideas I remembered anyways. I'm pretty sure I had better ideas
And I forgot that the Charmander family were those.
And the DJ pokemon are similar to loudred. Just Steel and Electric.
I can't remember, has there been a pokemon based around the idea of luck and lucky items? I could see it having an interesting ability that would take the idea of luck into account.

Chancey was somewhat based on luck, because you had to be very lucky to find it. And then it's unique held items Lucky Egg and Lucky Punch.
