This is pretty chaotic, actually I wasn't expecting Microsoft to pull this, but overall, not sure how I feel about it.
Though microsofts move seems a bit on the ego side if you ask me.

Shadowth, the PS3 is much more secure. It took them years to be able to pirate games on it and even now it's not easy at all. Unless you have a blu ray burner. Or an external drive that has enough memory to hold multiple 10+ gig games.
Hacking and piracy has been rampant on the 360 for years. It's only very recent on the PS3 and still much much rarer.

piracy makes you value less your games anyway.

Sega's american ads were just about how the Genesis can beat up a Super Nintendo for his lunch money. Hence why he was called the Genesis in the first place instead of the Mega Drive (to keep on creating this image that he's better than the competition). Look:

PS3 though before the PSN fiasco that's happening now seemed far easier though to play hacked games if you ask me. I mean if you had a decent internal hard drive you wouldn't have to worry about storing games on it and its not like you'd have to burn them to play them. I don't really do too much pirating or hacking online personally, but I store my games, that I bought just to be clear, on the internal hard drive so I can just use a backup launcher to load them rather than digging them out everytime. Considering you don't have to burn them, its not hard to just do what you want with the game with ease online while on the 360 you can't do that online without at least using a disc. Well until this gets released anyway: http://xbox360.dashhacks.com/2011/04/25/...-usb-drive Edit: In short I wouldn't say either is better or worse at the moment, but I personally prefer Microsoft on the matter as I said earlier.

you dont value your pirated games when you dony hvae any plans to buy them later(if).
no one has mentioned though the millions sony did (and still does) from selling thousands of PS2s and how easily they got chip modded to play pirated games. and the same happened to the PSX

I personally value my acekard over any single ds game i own while of course i value all of my games, if anything were to happen to them, my acekard is what i'll turn to that's why i have downloaded copies of castlevania and nsmb, for example they got stolen and i haven't had a chance to rebuy them, so in the meantime i have them on my acekard for when i want to play them again |
