Ugh. I need to come up with a good idea for the ground - I hate sand ever since the last TUGS.

Uh... I'd just make waves in it. XD

Previous since yours is POV maybe you can give it a wavy effect all around.
Might add to the "drunk" effect as well.

that might be pretty interesting. You could use dithering or some other method to "blur" out certain parts, maybe?

This is what I have so far, seem empty but no idea what to add.

Make the ghost more transparent, have an eel be swiming behind her and down to the right.

I think I'm done, don't know how to make it more transparent. Where am I suppose to post the entry?

Ever, making the parts slightly lighter where the light rays pass behind her might add to the transparency effect.
