edit: also I still own vanilla on 360 so if anyone's still left behind in the distant past and wants help stepping up their game I can offer to help there as well
Dude that was in an interview WITH niituma. It was on Eventhubs as well as shoryuken.com. DOn't remember the name but just type in 58 niitsuma. But seriously, that lupinko nutriding has gotta stop. Well..... carry on.

okay, so 2 things
1) it's not 'nutriding' to say 'a guy who's been right every time will probably be a good source of info'
2) this interview? seriously? "we wanted to do more with this game" is something almost every game developer says about every project, that's hardly proof of another game already, once again, especially since I've heard absolutely zero people talk about this
what's next, when shiggy casually mentions in one interview how he wanted more levels in a mario game you're gonna wait for Super Mario: Ultimate Arcade Edition 2012? give me a break

1. Dont take it so seriously man
2. Um..
"Initially, the plan was to include 58 characters in UMvC3 in order to surpass Marvel vs. Capcom 2, but due to scheduling this was an impossibility. For those of you keeping score at home, UMvC3 will have 50 characters in it, if you include Shuma and Jill as DLC."
"The translator's impression from the article is that the higher-ups wanted this out by the end of the year (for Christmas), and Niitsuma and his team had to change their plans to accommodate this."
I never mentioned another game stop assuming things. I am just saying that we can expect more DLC down the road possibly if they are able to work on those 8 characters. Besides, in the case of Umvc3, that whole i wanted to do more actually carries some weight, considering the short amount of time they had to work on the sequel.

okay, for the taking it too seriously, I apologize
but the new game thing came from the fact that... you replied to me, and that's what that conversation was about. whack-dat-yoshi said he heard rumors of a new game (and mentioned the extra characters thing also) and I was just sayin', that's probably balogna

I hope they just go the DLC route for those characters. I REALLY don't want to spend another $40 to continue enjoying Marvel VS Capcom, but if they make a 3rd version with Mega Man... I'll lose it. lol

yo i cannot stress this enough (to anyone in general): spend time with the game. if you need to take a break and come back to it then whatever, but the real key to enjoying this game is putting in time and learning about the characters you like using. watch videos. read up on your characters on shoryuken, or read the UMvC3 threads on neogaf or somethingawful, they are loaded with info about the game.
for like the first two weeks i would refuse to play this game because i simply didn't like the changes i was seeing to my old team and seeing the changes everyone else got, but then i got over it and now have two (2) working teams that i practice with on a near daily basis. the game's fun, but you've gotta be willing to learn

Hey! You!
Does this screenshot of Ryu defying God's will excite you? Well, Heroes and Heralds mode has been dated for release on December 19th, along with a patch that fixes a few bugs within the game!
And here's an article that kinda sorta explains it!

everyone on marvel side sticks to the game's aesthetics. while everyone on capcom side decided to stick to their own aesthetics.
its not the kind of clash i was expecting to see on this game.

didn't that card mode release two days ago? How is it? It's free DLC right?
It's a patch to the main game. So yes, free.
And it's awesome.

I think it's a bit weak, it's a cool game mode to dick around with on the side and you can do some ridiculous shit but the lack of options for casual matches among friends is a massive dealbreaker for me
