I have here the .MDL files of Rockman Zero from Onimusha Blade Warriors...-and I am trying to get them into 3D Studio Max 2011. Would anybody here happen to know how to do this?
If you want to know why. I'm part of the Brawl Hacking community, and would like to get MM Zero into Brawl.

Make sure the .mdl and the corresponding textures are in the same folder.
Download noesis and run it.
Navigate to the map you placed the files in and double click your .mdl file.
After that go to File->Export in the top left border.
Export it as your desired model format (.OBJ doesn't preserve the bones and rigging data).
Import into 3ds max.
Goodluck!
Thanks very much. I was actually thinking I would take the UVs and make new textures myself. I'm certainly capable of it, what with my years of Photoshop experience.
There's only one question I have: which version of Noesis do I DL?

Okay. I tried to open the .MDL just now, and it tells me it can't be previewed, am I missing anything needed to be able to import it into Noesis?

Sure. I have the three models of Rockman Zero from Onimusha Blade Warriors right here.

Here you go.
I would be very grateful if you managed to get this turned into a OBJ.

Are you sure this is the actual model and not the animation or any other non mesh file? Since the files are only 13 kb which is far too small for a model file
And I checked the file in hex workshop and there are no common signs of a model file to be found....

I'm pretty sure...
I looked it up before coming here, and it said the MDL file is a geometry file, and when I think of geometry, I think of models.. I'll ask the guy who ripped the model from the ISO to to hand me all the files. The 3 MDL files came with two Data files (.dat and .MXT), a binary file (.bin) and a .MPK (which, from what I researched, is a mapping file).

I see the problem already:
1: Noesis can only import Source engine mdl files.
2: This is a Ps2 game which most of the time don't have any tools for ripping them.
