Updated the animation to include a landing part, also we should do the first game's stuff first and then maybe continue after that.
Edit: I've done the base sprite for the Beehive, but since I haven't played Banjo-Kazooie in ages, I think most likely got the size wrong.
Progress:
I felt like trying to do a basic tileset. It's a bit different than I thought it would be, limited palette it was fun to do though.
Edit 2: Redid the Ground again and I don't feel like double posting again:
It's about time I started contributing. My first sprite will be Ticker the Termite:
THOSE FRICKIN' LEGS WERE SO HARD.

Ticker's a tad big there isn't he? Size aside it looks amazing imo, I love it
I tried reshading and reducing colors on Kami's sprite but I may have messed it up, i'm not sure
This is the only in-game screenshot I can find, and it looks like Tickers are pretty large (especially for termites), and I figured that most of these characters were a little off size-wise anyway but if not I can try to fix it. It actually looks to me like he isn't quite big enough but yeah thanks! If I were to make him smaller though I have no idea how I'd make his legs work because I barely made them work at this size.

Well in relation to Bawl the Turnip, Tickers are actually a bit smaller. I booted up the emulator just to double check
It's not really a big problem tbh but it's noticeable when comparing. Since we are downsizing things that are massive in relation to Banjo like Grunty, it should just depend on what looks best for each character in the style.
On a side-note, I just found this. Tread cautiously on Google at night when looking for references my friends
...Is that a Dedede model?

Yeah characters sizing is difficult especially when you consider Rare is always messing with their sizes themselves. Take a look at Jingaling compared to Banjo:

Yeah, they seem to use whatever is most convenient so I suppose that would be good logic to follow by
I finished up a dreadful version of Skeleton Grunty that I tried to use Star's old Grunty eyes with. Came out very messy, but it's a start (after we work more on the first game of course).
I also did Topper and Colliwobble. Colliwobble looks off but I can't place what.
Reordered the sheet I keep reposting as well. I think the colored background that Jetters used was useful and I seperated BK and BT characters just for the sake of organization.

After long time looking at this thread, I felt that I should contribute, so here is what I made
I believe in Jesus Christ, if you do also, post this as your sig.

Dang you, I started the other enemies in the first area yesterday and never finished em...
Now I have to modify my sleep pattern so I can actually see the stuff happen.
I'm going to animate Topper & Colliwobble.

Mr. Vile seems a tad big there, mind if I try an edit?
I wish I could sleep
I feel like Bawl should be just a little bit bigger then because in-game it's eyes are up to Banjo's head. If that was done then the size issue with Ticker would probably be fixed as well. But I dunno.

Gahhh, I wanted to finish the basic tileset I started, but it's pissing me off, moving onward to something else, I'll get back to it later...
Also guys, is the Beehive I sprited earlier too big?
@Mighty, I thought the Bawl was a little too big in game so I sprited him a little smaller compared to Banjo.

Well... it's not that I don't want to fix my sprite, I just dread the thought of messing with those legs more... because I have to keep them spaced out to preserve readability, but keeping them spaced is incredibly difficult to get to look right with such a tiny midsection.
Also good luck to whoever decides to animate it...

Now I'm motivated to animate the sucker.
