in a more important note, I've been using ORGmaker, but apparently there is a more recent version of it. Can I make music on that program instead?

This is really really cute. The Cave Story mod field is always alive.
My question is do you learn a lot for making your own games when messing with this one?

I heard that if you make music with the most recent one, some of the newer instruments wouldn't work with cavestory. I don't know any of the newer instruments, so i suggest using the old one.

um, kinda. modding a game thats already made doesnt really give so much experience. you're just using someones engine and changing the game to your likings.

Yeah, actually, I'm totally cool with being the frogs, seeing as they are a much harder slot to fill. I just... forget how exactly the frog enemies work. The way I remember it, there were big frogs in the main area that were standalone enemies, and the smaller frogs were spit up by Balfrog. But the smaller frogs may have just dropped in the boss room, or they may have appeared in the main area as well, so... yeah. Unfortunately I can't exactly check now, no save files are anywhere close to the Balfrog fight.

O-or Tellis could be Jack and the frogs could be Jester Frogs, m-maybe... but really I'm just happy having any part in it. c:

I recently did the Balfrog fight. From what I remember whenever he jumps on the ground small frogs fall from the ceiling, and occasionally (I think at specific intervals) a few big ones too. Outside the boss battle the are only a couple of big ones throughout Grasstown.
