#76
would this work any better?
Took away a color, and un-pillowed it for the most part Smile

I feel like it might look sorta thin compared to kirby? Since it's supposed to sorta squash him (if memory serves right) I think it should be a bit bigger in general. Not much but a little bit.

That's pretty neat there Ploaj.

Anyways more Boomer.

Oh, boomer, you have such a wacky way of throwing a boomerang.
(It seems Perot has a similiarly wacky method, not surprising since I suspect Perot replaces Boomer outright.)
I'm not that happy with the throw. It seems too slow for an enemy that's essentially an upgraded sir kibble. I tried less frames but it was no where near as fluid as boomer's walk cycle, and I'd like to keep that quality up.
Kinda wish I had another light blue shade to work with for the boomerand, so I could make it more blue... but it turned out okay like it is.
Speaking of pallete, I forgot to ask before, what's the max color count per sprite? Just use best judgement? Or is there an actual limit?

just made a small change to the the kabu edit. made it a bit taller and the old top part seemed a bit flat

there should be a limit to sprites at least as to make sure the style isn't too difficult and the sprites aren't too blurry or under-detailed etc..

EDIT: Ebilninja, I don't think you should directly use Lexou's edit, but reference it to shade yours better. I know I went over this before but I don't remember if it was with Novally or you, so, sorry if I'm repeating myself.

That's really nice! I'm probably going to make some music for this project for kicks and giggles.

Also Terminal Devastation, there isn't a color count limit. Just the pallete. I'll add that to the first post. I also think you don't really need that much actions. Those seem like stuff for Helpers/Partners.

@Jetters I'll get to making the button! The size will probably be around 128x64

Hold up... I thought we were adding things they couldn't do in kirby's dreamland to everybody in the game, rather than just Kirby himself.
I was planning on making boomer Helper capable by giving him a variant of Helper Sir Kibble's moveset (well and then later go nuts until he has every cutter ability ever, including Crystal shard combos, and riding animal friends) After that I was planning to repeat the process with Whispy if no one got to him first.

Hmm, you are correct about that. But when I said things that they couldn't do in Kirby's Dream Land, I meant modern things that they do know. Like sliding, dashing, swimming. I should've been more clear on that...

gosh, im so bad at handling a project...;_;

Sorry lexou and jeeters.

All I really meant to do was fix the shape of the sprite(I forgot to fix the bottom though...). The shading looked good to me, and I didn't really want to ruin it

It's okay, EpicEbilninja. After all, it is a project. So you can edit others work. Just like everyone else~!

recme, you're doing fine, but if you want I can try and compile a list of things we should focus on right now so people have a reference to look at
when i'm not super tired that is (i mean, it is 4Cute0am at the moment and skimming through a whole bunch of stuff is not what i want to do right now^^)

I'm thinking that right now, the focus should lie on actually recreating the old stuff and not on adding helpers, animal friends and the like.
That doesn't mean that we can't work on that for later addition, so I think the stuff Terminal Devastation worked on should be perfectly fine.

Yes Vic! That would be great! I get extremely worried when I do something wrong! Ouch!

I agree. The other stuff could be after we make the current things. EDIT: I was thinking if the Meta Knight you made can be a secret boss! That would be cool!
