It's the first time I ever played one--I've watched plenty.
Gee it's really difficult
I'm on day 23 and only have 19 parts
Pikmin is an amazing series. If you need any tips for enemies/bosses/anything in general just ask me~
One thing though, is I try to multitask as much as I can (while of course trying to make sure the paths are safe for Pikmin) and try not to get stuck on small things like too much in order to get at least 2 parts in one day, until I'm caught up, at least. Thanks for the offer! I'm treating this run as a learning experience.
I think I'm doing okay now, I only need 7 more and I have 6 days to do it : )
It's very entertaining--I'm really looking forward to 2 and 3 because they look BEAUTIFUL♥
2 is way better than 1 just fyi.

I've been playing Neo Turf Masters (NeoGeo/NGCD) lately, and holy DAMN is this game wonderful. For starters, it's made by Nazca (of Metal Slug fame), the gameplay is very similar to the portable Mario Golf games (games I've also loved), it has some swanky-ass muzak-esque tunes. I normally detest non-Mario sports games, but this one rules.

DuckTales Remastered. I love it! The graphics, the voice acting, all of it. The stage layouts are the same, but they really overhauled the bosses (thankfully). I would love it if they did more classic NES platformers like this.
This would make the NES Mega Man games worth buying again, that's for sure.
Edit: and the music! How did I forget the music? The music rocks too!

Duck Tales is awesome so far. I also beat Final Fantasy 6 for the first time a few days back. One of the best RPGs I've played in a while.

I decided to take a break from the Zelda genre for a while and get into Paper Mario. I'm thinking I have a problem, because everytime I have to push blocks or find keys, all I can is think: "This game is just like Zelda!"
I also just got a couple of older games from childhood (I lost a lot of things when I moved seven years back, and am on the hunt to replace them) in addition to a few things I've never played before. Chief among them: Mole Mania, which I'm super stoked to have a copy of. I'm seriously considering ditching Paper Mario for a bit and taking Muddy for a spin. I also got Balloon Kid, which is also really exciting for me, and I might give that a twirl next, since I'm such a huge fan of Balloon Fight.
Been playing Mario and Luigi: Dream Team (can't believe nobody mentioned they are playing it) Loving it so far!
Also I can confirm the charters are sprites (Except when you are fighting with Giant Dreamy Luigi, there are some 3D models like Mario for example, as well as the environment outside the dreamworld is 3D, inside the Dreamworld looks 2D, and when Luigi is asleep, there is a 3D model of him and Starlow.
What Rips am i doing next not sure?

Is that the one with the section where you have to pass through a wall by collecting a certain bell and the game doesn't indicate that?
Or am I just farting out incoherent nonsense that never actually happened?
