Yeah I've been shocked and disappointed before. Also Sakurai never reveals Newcomers on the date of a game's release. All Newcomers have been announced at a Nintendo Direct or E3. Only Veterans are revealed on a game's date.

Wouldn't it be funny if Roy got revealed at March 29th, since that was when his game was released on Japan?

but then again, we didn't get a pokémon update when x & y came out. so this theory does not always fly I guess

I just want Yoshi to be confirmed already.

He's pretty much my best character in most of the games and I'd be damn pissed if Sakurai didn't throw him in.

Also relating to Zelda I'm a little surprised that her Skyward Sword design wasn't used... or at least a hint of it.

In the meantime we could potentially enjoy seeing Kind Dedede or Metaknight in HD glory next month :->

Meta Knight is unlikely as he hasn't even been shown to be in the new Kirby game.

Not that I think he won't show up in Smash at all mind you, just that Dedede has higher chances of being revealed first what with having a significant role in the upcoming title.

But Meta Knight has had some relevance with the Kirby's Return to Dreamland no? That wasn't released too long ago.

If Meta Knight does return I'm willing to bet that he's gonna get nerfed to hell.
